Okay this is going to be a challenge. It turns out 2 ounces of BFL looks remarkably like one ounce of BFL.
I also started a stripey sock.
He is not much of a sock model but works cheap!

Tour de What?
I am participating in the Tour de Fleece. A little spinning event to encourage all of us to spin fiber each day the Tour de France cyclist spin their wheels. I hope to post each day of the Tour so I can chronicle my progress in meeting this challenge.
At Arrowmont, in my class with Kate Larson, I sampled for a sweater and during the tour I will attempt to spin as much of the fiber as possible.
The swatch
The fiber - Three Water's Farm BFL in Natural brown and Window Dressing.
Day 1 - I spun a little over one ounce. Had to force myself to stop spinning as it was almost effortless. Didn't want to risk a spinning related injury. ;^)
Hopefully this will become a lovely three ply.
