We headed to the beach where we both played with string! It was cold, grey and windy. Perfect weather for kite flying and not so good for knitting. Reed has a fondness for kitschy beach hotels. He found a good one, the Savannah Inn at Carolina Beach. It was a little diamond in the rough - clean and charming!
